Ponds can make a great centrepiece feature for your school. They offer interest in an area that may not necessarily have large areas of planting and as a result provides a space for wildlife.
They can be a calming space for the students (and the teachers), giving opportunity for some time out.
Education
Having water at your school gives you the opportunity to introduce children to nature. We recommend planting schemes in our schools to try and manage your pond as sustainably as possible and the wildlife this attracts can be an opportunity for outdoor education for the children.
We can also introduce a basic hydroponic growing system at your school, which the children can become involved in. Our team are passionate about introducing children to growing their own food and are happy to give talks and provide guidance to teachers to implent this exciting method.
Eventing
Why not make your pond the centre piece for your school open days or educational events? We can provide an eventing scheme to include planting, lighting and moving water to make you stand out from your competitors and make your pond a real feature at your event.
